Breakfast, or colazione, is typically a small meal in Italy. Cappuccino and brioche (or croissant as we conventionally think of it) are staples. Don't even dream about eggs, bacon, sausages, omelets, pancakes, waffles, or breakfast burritos. 

(but with this, you may never have to dream of anything else ever again...)

oh yea, and don't forget the golden rule: NO BRIOCHE OR CAPPUCCINO AFTER 11AM, unless social suicide is your conviction.
